We’re on the lookout for an experienced, talented and motivated digital marketing manager to join our existing team. Working across many accounts, you’ll help to develop and manage digital strategies through SEO, paid, social media and email marketing.
With a finger on the pulse for all things digital marketing, the ideal candidate will be someone willing to integrate themselves fully into an existing team, offering guidance, structure and growth. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential.
Requirements:
- Experience in heading up, managing and growing a team.
- Strong analytical skills and data-driven thinking.
- Excellent written ability, with experience in article writing and copywriting.
- Proven knowledge of SEO, including best practices, technical SEO, ability to run website audits, highlight opportunities and provide on-site recommendations.
- Proven knowledge and experience of link-building practices, including blog outreach, digital PR and more.
- Proven experience in building SEO campaigns from a keyword level, delivering keyword and content recommendations.
- Experience in paid advertising on Google, Facebook, LinkedIn and others.
- Experience in organic social, with a history of running campaigns and building audiences.
- Experience with funnel-based digital marketing.
- Experience with Semrush.
- Experience with reporting apps such as Google Data Studio, DashThis and others.
- Experience with email marketing across a range of platforms including but not limited to Mailchimp, Klaviyo, Hubspot, MailerLite and others.
- Experience with website analytics tools (e.g. Google Analytics, etc).
- Experience with tracking methods/pixels (GA, GTM, Facebook, LinkedIn etc.
- Experience with Asana and Basecamp desirable but not essential.
- Highly organised with the ability to work on multiple accounts & campaigns concurrently.
- Excellent communication skills to help onboard new clients and nurture relationships.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work in a team environment.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Work under pressure to tight deadlines.
- 5+ years experience in a similar role.
Responsibilities
- Manage and support our existing digital marketing team, helping with planning, workload, issues and setting monthly work.
- Plan and execute all digital marketing campaigns, including SEO, organic and paid social.
- Create training plans and work with people on an individual as well as group level.
- Lead on team appraisal meetings and conduct regular individual appraisals.
- Working with our existing PPC team to help plan and strategise campaigns.
- Working with our existing social media team to help plan and strategise campaigns.
- Help the team measure and report on performance of all our campaigns, assessing them against goals, and communicating these to clients (ROI and KPIs).
- Brainstorm new and creative growth strategies with our team.
- Document all processes in our company handbook.
- Pay close attention to time management and tracking.
- Liaise with our website development teams on website builds to ensure correct technical SEO, site architecture and best practice methods.
- Work with our existing suite of marketing/tracking focused apps that include Semrush, DashThis, Canva, Brandwatch, Mailchimp, Harvest and many more.
- Research and recommend additional/alternative apps if you think they would help our efficiency and processes.
- Learn and develop new skills, sharing knowledge with the rest of the team.

Salary
£35,000 – £42,500 per year, dependant on experience.
