Ghost Town Games

Ghost Town Games is a BAFTA-winning independent video game developer based in the UK, renowned for creating engaging cooperative games. Founded in 2015 by Phil Duncan and Oli De-Vine, both former employees of Frontier Developments, the company gained prominence with the release of their debut title, Overcooked!, in 2016. This cooperative cooking simulation game received critical acclaim for its chaotic and entertaining gameplay, emphasising teamwork and communication.

Building on this success, Ghost Town Games developed Overcooked! 2, released in 2018, which introduced new levels, chefs, and recipes, along with online multiplayer functionality. In 2020, they released Overcooked! All You Can Eat, a remastered compilation of both games with additional content and enhanced features.

In December 2024, the company announced their latest project, Stage Fright, a two-player cooperative adventure game that combines elements of Overcooked!-style chaos with escape room-esque cooperation. Set in an intriguing and mysterious town, the game is designed to be accessible to a wide array of players, focusing on communication and teamwork.

Despite their success, the studio had previously lacked a strong online presence. As such, we focused on creating an immersive and interactive WordPress platform for Ghost Town Games’ loyal fanbase, enabling them to view and discuss the games while showcasing future releases.

The new website launched in December 2024, delivering a vibrant digital hub that reflected Ghost Town Games’ innovation, fun, and passion.

This project added to our extensive portfolio of gaming industry clients, including Marvelous Games, Peek & Poke and Airship Images, a renowned game art production studio.
