The Mailing Room specialise in providing and maintaining franking machines, mailroom equipment, and consumables for businesses, and are one of the largest suppliers in the UK.
The Mailing Room got in touch with us to discuss a revamp of their old and outdated website.
Goals
The goal was to create a professional and modern website to enhance brand perception and online presence, while also generating B2B inquiries through a structured user journey – with clear calls to action. Additionally, the website should facilitate direct sales of consumables, position TMR as a market leader, and subtly highlight its corporate social responsibility initiatives.
It should also be easy to edit within the CMS and built using existing brand guidelines and logo for consistency.
Technical
The design should be mobile-friendly, improving the Google PageSpeed Insights score from 21 to 70 or higher. It must deliver high scores on Google Core Web Vitals for both mobile and desktop, while also ensuring a simple, user-friendly page-building experience within the CMS.

The project
The redevelopment project was separated into two distinct phases:
Phase 1 – Improvements to the existing website
