Pixel Kicks has created and launched the brand new website of Skateboard GB, the national governing body for skateboarding and home of Olympic skateboarding in Great Britain.
Following Paris 2024, at which skateboarding was part of the games for only the second time at the Olympics, the website creates a new online home for the organisation which prides itself on being run by skateboarders for skateboarders.
The new website has a focus on Skateboard GB’s 12-Year Strategic Plan, which promotes the sport through the four key pillars of Skate More, Skate Better, Skateable Places and Connect.
Following the launch Chris Buckley, MD of Pixel Kicks, said: “This has been a fantastic project to work on and we are really pleased with the result. Skateboarding is now an Olympic sport so the launch timing could not be better as the team has been able to create a hub where fans could go for all the latest news, information and results. Moving forward, I’m confident the new site will be a great foundation for Skateboard GB to continue its work over the coming years.”
Neil Ellis, Head of Digital Engagement at Skateboard GB added: “Pixel Kicks really understood us and our aims so we knew they would be the right partner for this project. Feedback has been brilliant so far and I know it will add real value to every part of the organisation and to our communities and stakeholders.”
